About us
 

The South Asia Alumni Initiative (SouthAsianet) is a communication platform for all current and former students as well as former guest researchers and present and former employees of the South Asia Institute of the Heidelberg University (Germany). This network is supported by the Vereinigung der Freunde und Förderer des Südasien-Instituts Heidelberg e.V., (The Association of Friends and Patrons of the South Asia Institute), which was founded on 29th April 1968 and has since been supporting the South Asia Institute with its research work.
